I have always been fascinated with the Dark world of the Supernaturals particularly Vampires. They are the masters of seduction and the whole predator-prey relationship is just too much to handle. Vampires are mysterious and they carry with them an innate sensuality (which helps in making their prey restless, I guess!). The way they seduce their unknowing preys, how they showcase of their mystical powers (super speed & strength) and the uncovering of their weak/blind spots (stakes, any sharp object, holy water, crucifixes, sunlight, UV rays and the likes) are sure hits in a vamp movie.
With the advent of Hollywood movies, vampires in the big screen are becoming less and less scary. Instead of portraying them as the Nosferatu in the 18th century as unattractive counts and countess, they are now vastly becoming hip royalties with an utterly modern sense of style (no more big boring black capes and heavy eyeliners).
Blame it on the big screen but I just love the Modern day vamp movies. In lieu of the TWILIGHT hype, I would like to give you a List of Hip and Amazing Vampire Movies / Series and even Anime that are worth to watch and scream for.
